Update site の社内ミラーを作ろうとしてハマる．

いまさらながら，Update site のミラーを社内にもっておこうと思い立つ．ぐーぐる先生のご神託経由で，あちこちで引用されているブログに当たる．

本格的に Eclipse Update Site のミラーサイトを構築する

ネットワークやマシンの問題で私には無理ではあるけれど、公開用 Eclipse Update Site のミラーサイトを構築することもできる。

この通りにrsyncをかけたら，つれない返事がeclipse.orgのサーバから返ってきた．(ログは一部改変)

無謀にも本家に申請フォームを送る．

アクセスポリシー変わってしまったようですなぁ．仕方ないので，本家の説明を読む．

internal network.

むーん．internal networkで使いたいとは思っているけれど，外に向けたミラーサイトに耐えられるほどの sufficient bandwith は無いねぇ．
記入フォームを見たら，internal mirror に対する配慮はあるっぽい．

Internal mirrors should prefix [INTERNAL] to the Organization name

けれど，HTTP URLはrequiredなんだよなぁ．うーむ．
とりあえず，フォーム送ってみた．

フォーム送った後で気づいた．

dailyで追っかけるつもりでもないので，ftp.jaist.ac.jp とか，mirror していて ftpで公開しているところからwgetしてくればよいのでは．
…やってみたら，望みの環境は手に入った．むーん．送ったフォームどうしようかねぇ．
